A Golden Christmas



Right after Christmas, I was looking to take advantage of the days off, but I didn't want to break the budget, especially after the expenses of the holidays and a kitchen renovation we were going through at the time as well. To keep the trip cheaper during the holidays, airfare was out of the question. That mean only one thing: road trip! I had seen pictures of the Golden Isles many times before and it was in my list of places "To visit one day", so the "one day" had arrived and the Golden Isles were the destination. I told grandpa and he was excited to join my husband and I in this quest. On December 26, this party of three headed north for the golden shore.
